Colours on a computer screen are made up of Red, Green and Blue. Each has a value from 0 to 255 which gives a total of more than 16 million different colors to play with. Most modern monitors are capable of displaying at least 16384 different colors. (That’s the technical bit.)
When we design web sites it’s not always easy to know exactly what colour our clients want, so to try and speed the process up, here’s 940 colours. The number to the left of each block is called the HEX number. When you want to describe a colour to us, just let us know the HEX number and we’ll know which one you mean.
